Gallo Loco was so delish! We drive through SLC often, typically late at night and are always looking for a place to eat. Gallo Loco did not disappoint! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was so kind and helpful. We had the nachos with carnitas, quesadilla with chicken and steak taco. We loved one dish more than the next! While everything was so good, our favorite was the steak - such great flavor! We will definitely make this our go-to dinner spot when we are in SLC.

Great service the night I came in. 3 taco meal was excellent. I will definitely try to come back out this way for Gallo Loco.

Excellent food choices, I had the Crazy Bowl Asada with 3 sides and all the toppings, the food, service, and the atmosphere was excellent as well. Very clean and service perfecto.

I ordered my food online it was an easy process by having pictures and a description of the item. I saw that if you wanted any kind of sauce or salsa you had to pay extra not used to paying for those. The person working the register was kind and helpful answering my questions. The first item the torta cubana was a sandwich with fries which were plain the description of the sandwich was it hand steak and pulled pork and sausage they should put a disclaimer that the sausage is really a hot dog not very cool the taste of the bun was buttery taste was excellent and the crispness was outstanding the meat items were good except for the hot dog. The other item was a chicken burrito with pinto beans and rice inside. This was way bigger than I expected and it didn't disappoint the taste and freshness of the ingredients was great the chicken was moist not dried out or burnt. The side salad was a small amount but the pickled carrot and onions tasted good with lettuce. The rice was also very tasty. I definitely recommend to try this place out for Mexican food. I can't give this a 5 star because of the hot dog. Otherwise everything about this place was great from the service to the food.

Our first time dining here. Quickly greeted by Albert and given suggestions on the menu. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and most importantly, the food was very delicious. They over sauces to accompany the chicken. We tried the Mole, and Green Sauces. Both were very good. Honestly, without the sauces, the flavor of the chicken was already super tasty. I have been following Gallo Loco on Instagram for a while now because I've been wanting to go and try their delicious food! My husband and I were so excited to try it and WOW, we were extremely impressed. First things first, the customer service here is awesome. The staff was so friendly and it seemed as though they not only wanted you to have delicious food, but they wanted you to have a great experience at Gallo Loco as well. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted kindly and the staff kept offering to answer our questions about the menu. They were so nice and gave us some great suggestions. Not only that, they let us sample the different salsas they have to offer which was so awesome. Both my husband and I ended up going for the mild tomatillo sauce, but all of them were super good and you can't go wrong with any of 'em! Now a review of the food...DELICIOUS!!!! I ended up getting the quesabirria tacos and they were amazing. 3 tacos with birria meat and cheese that were then cooked to perfection after being dipped in birria consome! The meat was juicy and the taco was crispy which I LOVE. It was perfect. It came with a side of Mexican rice (Yum. Sometimes rice gets left over and old throughout the day but this rice was soft and delicious), beans, pickled vegetables, lettuce, pico, salsa, and a couple chips! Great deal for an awesome meal. My husband got the enchiladas with carnitas, carne asada and rotisserie chicken. He said that the rotisserie chicken enchilada was by far the tastiest--and I have to agree!! It was awesome. The only thing I don't like about Gallo Loco is that there are so many incredible options to choose from hahaha. I could NOT decide. Do I go for their rotisserie chicken? Quesabirria tacos? Rotisserie chicken tacos? Oh wait, I love enchiladas too. Maybe chips and salsa? It was impossible to choose, and I was happy with my choice, but I'm going to need to go back sometime and try some of the other options! Drink options were great. Sodas (Pepsi products), horchata, and a yummy mango drink! OH and one last thing...this place was so clean!!! No complaints over here. Cannot wait to go back again.

Food 5/5 Service 10/5 This place is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish I have tried so far is delicious, and they're so friendly and welcoming. I'm difficult, I usually request to change or substitute something and they are so accommodating. The atmosphere is bright and clean with tables for 4 and cheerful music. The menu is up on tv screens so you can see pictures of what you're ordering, which is very helpful. There is a nice drink selection here and lot parking. Come check it out!
